Mr. and Mrs. Buffalo Bore believe in one simple rule:

“SHIT HAS TO WORK.”

Mother Nature is unforgiving. She doesn’t care how you feel today, tomorrow, or if your gear—designed on paper—holds up in her brutal conditions.

Tim Sundles, owner and exclusive designer of Buffalo Bore’s 350+ ammunition loads, has lived through it all: bear attacks, moose attacks, wolf encounters, and charges from African game.

Their motto? “SHIT HAS TO WORK.”

Get to know Buffalo Bore

Tim Sundles

Born in Idaho, Tim became interested in firearms and everything outdoors by the time he could walk. His knowledge and passion for the outdoors are immense, having hunted around the world. He started making his own ammunition under the watchful eye of his father at the age of 13.

Kim Sundles

Kim, a retired elected prosecutor from Wyoming, is the mother of three adult children, alongside Tim’s three children. Growing up, Kim and her siblings were sent outside to explore nature until dark, fostering her independent, adventurous spirit. Her nurturing qualities complement Tim’s unapologetic, masculine energy, making them a formidable pair in the wild.

Gannhoek Game Preserve, South Africa

Tim and Kim spend a lot of time in South Africa at their Ranch named Buffalo Bore Game Preserve Gannahoek.

It is a 26,000 acre property with well over 30 species of wild huntable game animals including Tim’s passion…Cape Buffalo. The property boasts four 5-star guest suites with private baths and showers and offers both hunting and sightseeing packages. Reservations for 2026 will be available when their website launches in 2025.

Life saving information

Tim is often inundated daily with emails and questions not only about his ammunition but about “everything outdoors.” This drove Tim and Kim to share their wealth of knowledge to save others from costly mistakes or potential disasters. They believe the outdoors should be embraced, not feared, and aim to equip others with the tools to do so safely.

This not only saves money but could also prevent a life-altering or life-ending disaster. The great outdoors are to be enjoyed, not feared.
