  1. BUFFALO BORE IS NOW MANUFACTURING 416 RIGBY AMMUNITION

Transcript

So, this is my upstairs shooting room where I shoot indoors, but I’ve got targets set up outside ranging from 75 to 500 yards. I can shoot at any distance I want. Right now, I’m putting the finishing touches on our first commercial batch of 416 Rigby ammo. I have seven different 416 Rigby rifles, and this one is a Verie Corone, one of their exhibition models. I’ve hunted extensively with it in two or three African countries and have taken at least 100 head of game with it. Since I’m most familiar with this rifle, I’m using it as a test rifle, along with a couple of others, to produce and test our first batch of ammo.

This first batch will go to the guys at Field Ethos. I believe Don Trump and Jason Vincent both have 416 Rigby rifles made by Rigby for Field Ethos, and they’ll be sighting them in with this ammo before heading to Australia for a buffalo and camel hunt. I’ll be shipping them around 100 rounds once I complete this 5,000-round batch.

I’ve just tested the ammo at 150 yards, and I’ve got tiny, sub-MOA groups with a 350-grain Barnes Triple Shock bullet at 2,620 ft/sec. Every gun is a little different, but this is a fantastic load, and I know the Field Ethos guys will love it.

Now, we’re heading outside to shoot a 500 Jeffrey rifle with iron sights using our production ammo. It’s a new rifle for me, though it’s a used gun, so I want to ensure it’s properly sighted in. Let’s go do that now.
